Case: The Norwegian Medical Association (2007-09) Extranet.
Mission: Create an extranet for all doctors in Norway. Making it easier for the Medical Association to communicate with their members.
Concept: Give the doctors a good reason to visit the site - updated news on subjects of interest, knowledge sharing, update their professional profile with publications and current workplace, find student friends from the old days. Provide functional workspaces for different interest groups.
My role: concept developer, information architect, interaction designer. Graphic designer: Gustav Jönsson.

Front page showing the latest updates from relevant forums and other sources. Personalized menu in red to the right gives the user easy access to his own groups, work spaces, interesting forum conversations and so on.
My profile - wireframe. Displays which information the association has stored about a user and his current workplace - with a possibility to edit the information. An important reason for the launch of this extranet was to let the users update their own personal information online, instead of having to fill out and send in paper forms to the association. Because the process of informing the association when you get a new job or a different address is much easier now, the records in the association's member database are more accurate today.
